Antioco Piras at the age of 22, opened a restaurant and bar in Cagliari, Italy, the first of it's kind in the region, with fusion cuisine. At the age of 28 Antioco Piras 
transitioned into media and advertising and within a 2 year period he became the sales director for a luxury lifestyle magazine called Arts & Collections.
