1. Unpack your Arlo camera and  base station 
from the box.
2. Plug in the base station and  connect it to your 
router using  an Ethernet cable.

3. Download the Arlo 
app on your  
smartphone or  tablet 
and create  an account.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add 
your  Arlo camera to your account. Make sure 
the  camera is close to the base station during 
this  process.
5. Insert the batteries into the camera (if 
required)  and power it on.

6. Press the sync button on the base station and 
then  on the camera to sync them up.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish 
the  setup process, which may include naming 
your  camera, setting up motion detection, and 
choosing  other settings.

Once your Arlo camera is set up, you can place it 
wherever  you want and start using it to monitor your 
home or business.
