                     WHAT ARE THE 5 RAREST MOUNTS IN WOW WOTLK AND 
 HOW TO GET THEM FAST?
World of Warcraft has so many amazing mounts. Some of them are fairly  
easy to obtain but that’s not always the case. The Wrath of the Lich King  
expansion made mount collecting more mainstream back in 2008. In 2022 
 it will do that again, but this time for players of the Classic WoW. So for  
those who have made up their mind about starting a new mount collection 
 in WotLK Classic – here’s a little guide to the rarest mount for you. You  
will learn what they are and how to obtain them (fast). We will list them  
from the least rare of the 5 to the rarest one.
5. GREEN PROTO DRAKE
Although it's one of the rarest mounts in WotLK, getting the Green Proto-  
Drake is not exactly very hard. It takes lots of patience and luck, however, 
 since it's a purely RNG-based reward. To get it you need to improve your  
reputation with the fish-toad people known as the Oracles.
They dwell in the thicket of the Sholozar basin and are at a constant war  
with the Frenzyheart tribe (basically, puppy-people). Those 2 peculiar  
nations hate each others' guts. So if you improve your reputation with one 
 of these groups, you automatically worsen your relationship with the 
other.  Don't be afraid to become an enemy of the Frenzyheart people – 
you  wouldn't need their friendship to get the Green Proto-Drake anyway.
So you have reached the revered reputation with the Oracles, now go to  
their quartermaster. Buy a mysterious egg from them and wait for 7 days  
for something to hatch out of it. If you're really lucky, you might get your  
dragon after a couple of tries. Alternatively, you can find one of the four  
unique non-combat pets or a consumable food there. Needless to say, the  
drop chance is small (2%) and some people never get the dragon this 
way,  so we can only wish you all the best.

4. ICEBOUND FROSTBROOD VANQUISHER
This is the first raid-related mount on our list and it's not the last. The only 
 good thing about it is that you have a guarantee that you will get it after  
completing all the 17 achievements required for the glory. Although it 
might  seem a piece of cake for those of you with the retail WoW 
experience, you  really should reconsider your attitude in the Classic 
WotLK. The ICC was  hell of a raid before nerfs and it will surely be again.
So this dragon can be obtained by those who have found a strong 25-  
member team and completed hardmodes of certain bosses. The good part  
is that those hardmodes can be completed in the Normal mode. Some 
other  achievements require certain raid sections to be cleared in the 
Heroic mode.
3. VIOLET PROTO-DRAKE
There's no shortage of rare proto-drake mounts of all colors in WotLK but  
we promise that there are no more of them on this list. At least for the 
sake  of variety. Although Time-Lost Proto-Drake is more iconic and 
sought-after  than the Violet one, we nevertheless decided to add the 
latter on our list.  The reason for that is the time needed to earn it. You 
need an entire year  for that: the requirement includes completing all 
seasonal events'  achievements. Those events are:
* Lunar festival (February 5 - 23)
* Love is in the air (February 11 - 16)
* Noblegarden (April 26 - May 2)
* Children's week (May 1 - 8)
* Midsummer fire festival (June 21 – July 5)
* Brewfest (September 20 – October 4)
* Hallow's end (October 18 - 31)
* Winter veil (December 15 - January 2
The meta achievement is called What a long, strange trip it's been. Not 
only  do you have to be online during all those events (and pay for your  
subscription), but also you have to do some things that are really weird 
and  difficult. And don't expect to travel just around the faction's capital. 
You'll  have to go to absolutely random places in Azeroth and Outland to 
tick all  the boxes. Not everyone is game enough. And those that are, get 
the violet  proto-drake, one is the rarest mount in WotLK.
2. MIMIRON'S HEAD
This funny looking thing used to be the most desired ride back in the 
Ulduar  days. Getting it was insanely difficult – and it will be once more 
quite soon.  So first off all you need to be strong enough to get invited to a 
25-people  mode of Ulduar. Then you complete it several times to gear up 
and learn  the bosses better. When you're ready, you gotta defeat the final 
boss Yogg-  Saron with no help from the Keepers. That's a true hardmode 
and the  reward for it is a 100% drop of the Mimiron's Head mount.
Sounds easy? Well then, if it does, you didn't really get the message. 
Ulduar  is difficult, like really, really difficult. Getting ready for it takes 
gearing up  in raid-only gear in Naxxramas. That’s going to be pretty hard. 
However,  you can skip all that preparation and just go to the raid with our

The king of WotLK mounts. Honestly, it wasn't a difficult decision. 
Defeating  the hardest boss of the expansion (Arthas in the ICC) in the 
hardest mode  (25-ppl, Heroic) yields one mount so cool and rare that 
everyone loses their  minds. Yes, just one of those 25 guys will get it this 
time. Will there be  another one, though?
There certainly will be any number of victories over Arthas for you.
