It relies on the principles of sound waves, utilizing high-
frequency  sound energy to penetrate the material being tested.
How Does Ultrasonic 
 Testing Work?
A transducer generates high-frequency 
sound  waves and sends them into the 
material.
The sound waves travel through the  
material  until they encounter a 
boundary or a defect.
When a sound wave hits a boundary or 
defect, it  reflects back to the 
transducer.
The reflected sound waves are analyzed 
to  determine the presence, size, and 
location  of  flaws or defects.
