Advantages of 6
Layers High Tg PCB

Tg (Glass Transition Temperature) refers to the temperature at
which a PCB substrate transitions from a rigid to a softened state.
Standard PCBs typically have a Tg of around 130°C, whereas High
Tg PCBs have a Tg of 170°C or higher, ensuring better heat
resistance and reduced expansion at elevated temperatures.
Superior Heat Resistance
High Tg PCBs are designed to withstand elevated temperatures, making them
ideal for high-power and high-speed applications. The 6-layer structure ensures
efficient heat dissipation and minimizes the risk of PCB deformation under
thermal stress.
Enhanced Durability &
Mechanical Strength
With a higher glass transition temperature (above 170°C), these PCBs
maintain structural integrity even in extreme environments. The multi-layered
build provides added strength, reducing the risk of delamination and cracks.
Improved Signal Integrity & Reduced
Crosstalk
A 6-layer design offers well-planned signal routing, reducing electromagnetic
interference (EMI) and crosstalk. This ensures stable performance in high-
frequency applications such as RF communication, automotive electronics, and
industrial control systems.
Higher Power Handling Capability
The additional layers allow for optimized power distribution, making these
PCBs suitable for power-intensive applications such as automotive, aerospace,
and industrial automation.
Compact & Space-Saving Design
Compared to traditional 2-layer or 4-layer PCBs, a 6-layer high Tg PCB enables
more complex circuitry in a compact size, improving miniaturization without
compromising functionality.
