A Data Acquisition System (DAQ), also known as Data Logger, helps collect, store, and distribute information. It is widely used in commercial and industrial electronics and scientific and environmental equipment to capture the electrical signals on a computer. An ideal DAQ includes a suite of different technologies and tools that are designed to acquire data. It consists of DAQ hardware and software with the actuators and sensors and needs underlying network support for data communication between data acquisition software and data acquisition hardware.
