"huge-mall" is often more complex - finding the target shops for the customers would be really hard. 
The solution is not to really make the mall smaller but to make it easier to traverse from shop to shop.

that are held in the event area will surely attract customers to come to the mall. Doing things like these 
will incite curiosity and invite more people to come. It is also important to advertise the mall as well.
