ON-SITE HOUSE 
RELOCATION SERVICES:
Our  background in property development 
means we’re the experts in on-site house 
relocation.
If you own a large section and want to 
subdivide or add a minor dwelling, you may 
find that your current house location is 
stopping you from doing so. 
Houses on the Move can shift your house to 
a different part of the section, providing 
you the room that you need to add that 
new dwelling to your property.
We can also reposition your existing house 
to make the most of the sun, by lifting and 
changing the orientation of the dwelling on 
site (provided there is sufficient room on 
site), and then lowering back onto new 
foundations.  At this point you may also 
wish to consider raising the house to allow 
for a basement/garage.

provinces and this is only getting 
worse, not better. With investors 
looking for smarter ways to develop 
land in order to provide affordable 
housing, we are continuously looking 
for new housing stock.
If you are developing your land, don’t 
pay to have your house demolished.  
Instead call us and we may pay you to 
remove it from your site.

MANAGEMENT
We understand that relocating a home can be a daunting 
project, especially if you don’t have any previous 
experience in doing so. There are often frustrations due to 
the weather, material delays, contractors not showing 
budget blowouts – which can all add to the homeowner’s 
stress. We will project manage your relocation project to 
alleviate these hassles and to deliver the very best result 
within your set budget.
Because construction projects require the integration of 
numerous trades, the management of contractors is an 
essential part of the project.  We have strong relationships 
with a number of quality contractors. Even relocating a 
house, requires careful consideration and coordination of 
services. Our project manager will oversee and hire all 
appropriate tradespeople to carry out work on your new 
house.
We understand every aspect of the relocation process 
right through to Code of Compliance sign-off. We are able 
to provide a full project management service including 
taking care of all building and resource consents and 
arranging timely inspections.  
Removing the stress and hassle, and giving you the 
opportunity to carry on with daily life is our priority. Our 
project manager will oversee the job from the very 
beginning, ensuring the desired result is achieved.
