Packaging
Durable  corrugated  cartons can w i ths tand  the  we igh t  of heavy products  stacked 
 on  them .
This are a must -have mater ia l  for packaging .
Reinforced water  act ivated tape is the  best  f o rm  of tape  to  be  used to  seal the  
 boxes.
Ordinary mask ing  tape won ’ t  do .
Wrap and cushion the 
items
Heavy i tems mu s t  be  sh ipped  by securing t h e m  to  a 
 proper ly  bu i l t  and  s t ructured  pallet .
These pallets need  to  be  ideally m a d e  of w o o d  or 
 plastic .
pallets to  be  used as per  the  size and  d imensions  of 
 sh ipmen t  go  a long  way in  ensur ing safe delivery of 
 heavy i tems .
Avoid making boxes too

The heavier the  box ,  t he  mo r e  chances of i t  break ing

Distr ibute  the  goods in to  mu l t i p l e  boxes rather than  
 stuf f ing all in to  one .
Seal the boxes 
properly
The usual scotch tape ,  d u c t  tape ,  mask ing tape ,   
painters tape ,  and  other  craf t - type tapes m u s t  be  
 avoided .
Use heavy du ty  b r o w n  tape  or s t rapping  tapes wh i c h  
 are a good  opt ion .
