The founder and CEO of Kilometer is Christopher Hsu. Christopher, who is 
based in Hong Kong, is often regarded as one of the world’s foremost 
negotiators and dealmakers of US-Asia and US-China.
Kilometre Capital is a leading consulting firm based in Hong Kong which 
specializes in some of the world’s foremost investments, private equity, and 
buyout transactions with a focus on technology and media industries.
With a B.S. in Management Science Engineering, Mr Chris Hsu is a graduate 
of Stanford University’s School of Engineering. Kilometer Capital’s Chris Hsu 
was awarded the Stanford President’s Award for his exceptional 
performance and contribution at Stanford.
The Precedent Milestone of HP China H3C
The precedent-setting acquisition and joint venture of Hewlett Packard 
China (HP H3C) by Tsinghua University was spearheaded and lead 
managed by Mr Chris Hsu. Between the Western and Asian worlds, the 
$4.8 billion transaction which was done for the market-leading internet, 
data storage, &network equipment business of HP China is considered 
one of the most meaningful cross-border deals.
The HP China Deal is the most significant government-level approval 
achieved so far.
Tsinghua University
Tsinghua University, which is located in Beijing, ranks as China’s top University 
and among the top 10 universities and research institutes in the world. By 
effectively training its students, it has dedicated itself to enhancing China’s well-
being and the world. Tsinghua University has grown massively with over 25,000 
students and 14 schools and has also turned into China’s foremost engineering 
and technology research institute since its establishment in 1911.
At the end of 2013, in the QS Rankings of the hundred best universities in the 
BRICS region, which comprises of comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China, and 
South Africa, Tsinghua University ranked in the first position. The ranking was 
conducted on the basis of an extensive survey of employers and academics, 
information obtained based on the proportion of staff holding a doctorate, 
faculty-to-student ratio and other similar factors.

• In Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Mr Christopher Hsu was a pioneer investor.
• Also, in the world’s leading digital music streaming platform, Spotify, Mr Hsu 
was an early-stage investor.
• As the Founding Partner and former CEO of a leading Asian private equity fund 
and hedge fund, Abax Global Capital, Mr Chris Hsu oversaw the team and 
negotiated with Morgan Stanley for Abax’s minority equity partnership.
• For strategic consolidation in China’s gaming, semiconductor, internet, and 
technology markets, Mr Hsu led the leading buyout transactions for strategic 
consolidation.
• Mr Chris Hsu was the former Managing Director at Citadel Investment Group, 
which is one of the prestigious hedge funds in the world. He was the youngest 
Managing Director in Citadel’s history.
• Mr Chris Hsu ran his first marathon of 42.2 km at eleven years of age.
