.How lucky are we? We're proud to live in 
the land of country music, dancehalls, 
ranching, barbecue, and the Alamo. We also 
work hard to keep it as great as it's always 
been. Texas is a wide and varied state, and it 
can be what you want to make of it. We 
cherish our independence, respect our 
mamas, support our brethren, work hard for 
a living, and know how to live the good life.
Lucky Star Gin, inspired by the famous Texan 
saying, is truly a stroke of luck for us at the 
distillery. When distilling our first batch of gin, 
we were still waiting on some of the botanicals 
to arrive. Like any good Texian, we got a bit 
impatient, eager for some good hooch, and 
decided to try distilling with the botanicals we 
had so far. 
Louisiana Purchase Whiskey
From crawfish boils to the blues, there's a lot to 
love about Louisiana that's made its way across 
the Sabine river and into our neck of the woods. 
This superb small-batch single barrel whiskey was 
distilled in Thibodeaux and aged in oak casks 
before it journeyed to our distillery in South Texas 
for bottling. Now it proudly bears the sealof 
Coastal Bend Distilling Co., but we credit the 
distillery in Louisiana who made this masterpiece.
When our friends from Donner-Peltier 
Distillers in Thibodeaux called us up to see 
if we wanted to buy a couple barrels of 
their whiskey, we jumped in our truck and 
hauled on over the border into Louisiana. 
Their stuff was good, and we knew it. It was 
a harrowing journey complete with tornado 
warnings, heavy storms and high winds - 
but it made the reward all the sweeter.
