The holiday season is just around the corner, and as we are so close to wrapping 
up with the year 2020, we are all bound to look back at our journey through it. 
While we usually have all stupid, sad, fun & proud memories to talk about, this 
year has been a complete shake up for people around the globe. Nonetheless, at 
Cosmo Films, we believe that it is how one responds to these setbacks is what 
truly defines them.
Let’s have a glimpse at the major milestones we’ve set through the year 2020.
Anti-Germ Garment Wash Liquid
With the spread of COVID-19, health & hygiene became the top most concern of 
every individual. In response to the situation, Cosmo Films ventured into the 
chemical industry to engineer our all-new Anti-Germ Garment Wash Liquid. It is 
produced for end-consumers to prevent the propagation of germs & bacterias 
from the surface of the cloth. It has been proven to kill almost 99.9% germs from 
the surface of the fabric.
Anti-Bacterial & Acti-Viral Films
To respond to the threat of viral infections, our engineers worked day & night to 
create a film that could fight both bacterias & viruses, and suppress the 
transmission. As a result, we introduced our new innovation, Cosmo 
Antimicrobial Films, to the global market that was certified by Korea-based FITI 
Testing Laboratory. Our Antimicrobial Films for packaging & lamination can kill 
99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses such as lebsiella pneumoniae, 
staphylococcus aureus, colon bacillus, salmonella, etc. It has also been 
approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Food & Drug 
Administration (FDA) for safety of use.
Recommission Of BOPET
With an aim to serve the industry better, we are planning to initiate the production 
of high-quality BOPET films by 2022. BOPET films are widely used in the 
electronics, food packaging, and print industries, known for properties like heat 
resistance, chemical inertness, gas & moisture barrier, and flexibility.
Pet Care Products
2020 has made us realize the importance of the ecosystem around us. And, in 
order to make a step in this direction, we have initiated plans to venture into the 
Pet Care industry. Under this project, we would create an ecosystem for pet 
parents with a wide range of products and services for their pets.
Cosmo Synthetic Paper
Environment protection & sustainable development has been at the core of 
Cosmo Films. Thus, we have been promoting the use of Cosmo Synthetic Paper 
that has proven to be the perfect replacement for the traditional wood-pulp paper 
for durable applications like certificates, visiting cards, menu cards, books, etc. 
We have also increased our range of Synthetic Paper to cater to the 
governments of several states with their collaterals.
Promoting Recycling
To further promote sustainability, we have introduced new variants under our 
range of Heat Resistant and Barrier Films. The new films are engineered by 
experts to enable recycling and promote a circular economy.
Conclusion
Apart from innovation in products, we have made every effort to serve our 
society by the means of various CSR activities by Cosmo Foundation (the 
philanthropic arm of Cosmo Films). Our team actively participated in providing 
food, education, and sanitation & hygiene facilities to the underprivileged 
sections of the society. And now, as we close this year with a jolly holiday 
season, we look forward to setting many more such milestones in the coming
