Built- In/Built-On 
Roller Shutters
In a built- in type of roller 
shutters, a roller shutter box 
is made to be fi xed into the 
beam above the door or 
window, whereas, in the 
built-on type of roller shutter 
installation, a shutter box is 
placed over the exterior 
portion of building portico.
Manual Shutters
These types of roller shutters 
are meant to be operated 
manually. It can be easily 
lowered or l i fted too close 
and open the given space. It 
is the most basic type of 
roller shutter pattern, but 
with modern roller shutters 
technology, the manual 
operation of these large 
shutters is now swifter than 
ever before.
Integrated Shutters
In this type of shutter, 
window and shutters, both 
are combined in the form of 
single unit.
Electric Shutters
These types of shutters come 
with tubular motor fi tted in 
its rollers. These motors can 
be operated in diff erent 
manner such as through 
electrical switches or by 
remote keys, which comes 
with completely automatic 
version of these electric 
shutters.
