But  to  get  good  yields  too,  it  is  important  for  the  soil  to  be 
healthy.  To  find  out,  the  soil  samples  need  to  be  sent  to 
soil testing lab,  where  the  testers  will  fund  out  and  confirm 
whether or not  the soil  is good for raising crops and whether 
they will get good products at the end. This test is also done to 
find out if the soil is suitable for cultivating a specific type of 
crop or not.

you need to do is divide the field into different portions. Or 
else, take sample from 2 ft deep of all the areas. Place it is a 
bucket or tray and maybe mix some water so as to not lose 
hydration. Once the sample is ready you can take it to a soil 
testing lab and they will send the results to you in just a few 
days. You can even list the types of tests that you want to do 
with the soil.
