consumption, it is crucial that there are proper tests done on these too. 
Therefore, there are special food labs dedicated to this. The food testing 
labs test the food samples or the beverage samples for any kind of toxins 
that may have made their way into the food product. These toxins 
become a part of the food system not through middle steps always, but 
sometimes, it is due to certain problems in raw materials itself.

 Toxins In Milk
Not just in food, but toxins can be found in milk as well. These toxins 
are usually a result of antibiotic residues in milk. These are the 
antibiotics that are given to a milking cow when she develops

 The FSSAI Mandate
To ensure consumer safety, the FSSAI has made it clearly compulsory 
for every producer of packaged food product or the producer of 
packaged beverages to have their products tested at an FSSAI certified 
lab and get an OK certificate from them. All the tests mentioned by the 
FSSAI are necessary to be done and the reports are to be submitted 
accordingly. The products should also have the FSSAI mark on the 
product so that the customer knows the product has been well-tested.
