• Firstly, click the QuickBooks software on your computer to launch 
it.
• Find and select “File” from the top bar menu
• Select “Utilities” and click “Import. After, select “Web Connect 
Files”
• Before you move ahead, ensure that you extract.QBO file from 
your bank, click on it to open the files, and then hit “Next”
• Open the .QBO transaction extract file, select your Bank of 
America account, and select “Continue”
• Now, click “OK” and check the Bank feed center to ensure that 
the transaction between QuickBooks and your Bank of America 
accounts are synced.
What to do if you face troubles in 
importing bank transactions 
using Web Connect?
If you were unable to sync and import your Bank of America 
transactions using Web Connect, it is best that you create a 
new test bank account so you can merge them with your 
original account later. This will also be helpful in avoiding

• Go to the top menu, click “Lists” and select Chart of 
Accounts.
• Click “New” on the pop-up window that appears
• Now, put a tick on the check box next to Bank and click 
“Continue”
• Enter your bank name in the Account field, click “Save” 
and “Close”
• Next, right-click on the old account and rename it to the 
accurate bank name and click “Save” and “Close”
