Labtron manufactures the Cryostat Microtome, a semi-automatic system designed for frozen tissue sectioning in histology, pathology, and clinical laboratories. It features a freezing chamber operating from −35°C to 40°C with a quick-freezing shelf reaching −40°C. The instrument supports section thickness up to 100 µm and includes 18 specimen holder positions with semiconductor freezing points for controlled tissue preparation workflows. A CLC touch screen, manual and auto defrost, UV sterilization, and anti-fog glass window support routine laboratory operation and frozen section processing.
