About Us:-
Dogs have a host of different types of behaviors because they 
all function in different and specific ways. Because behavior 
is not random, we can understand the function of the 
behaviors dogs exhibit. We can devise better interventions 
when we take the time to understand why a dog is behaving 
the way they are. With a Behavior Assessment we can learn 
about why your dog is behaving the way they are, leading to 
pin-pointed training plans to address specific behavior issues.
Throughout his career, Doug has been a Subject Matter Expert 
for the CCPDT and has consulted with Humane Societies and 
dozens of rescues and foster groups. Doug graduated from the 
acclaimed Academy for Dog Trainers, and holds the CPDT-
KA and the CBCC-KA certifications from the CCPDT. He 
also has a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and 
understands the interplay between dogs and humans in our 
culture.
