How does a Materials Testing
Machine work?
A load cell – a highly accurate strain gauge that can measure
forces up to 750kg – is held by the arm of a Materials Testing
Machine/Texture Analyzer instrument. The arm is moved up and
down using Exponent Connect software, which can be
programmed to move at specific speeds and distances, or the
instruments can function as pre-programmed stand-alone units.

Compression Testing Machines
