Cutting
For stainless steel fabrication, we specifically use Mechanical cutting or 
thermal cutting.

I. Mechanical Cutting: Mechanical cutting is basically done by developing a  
process based on the physical properties of stainless steel. This includes 
different process like sawing, hand hacksawing, power hacksawing, 
shearing, abrasive cutting, and water jet cutting, etc.

II. Thermal Cutting: Usually in Thermal cutting, we heat the metal with fire.  
Then an excessive supply of oxygen is provided, which starts heat 
generating reactions.  But the regular oxyacetylene method is not the  
deal breaker. That’s why the thermal cutting evolves every few years.

a. Machining

• It’s not hidden that stainless steel is more challenging to 
machines than regular carbon steel. But the ferritic 
grades of stainless steel is comparatively easier to 
machine than the austenitic grades.

b. Grinding

Grinding is actually a process to get the polished finish on the 
surface of any metallic item. This is done by removing the uneven

c. Welding and Joining
