Sitrex tedder tines are made from high quality spring steel which translates into top performance 
and reduced breakage under difficult operating conditions. 
 
Sitrex hay tedders are constructed for high performance, durability and value. Tedder tines 
should be replaced on a regular basis to maintain the working performance of the tedder. Sitrex 
tedder tines are universal, and can be mounted on clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation 
rotors. This reduces the time it takes to change tines, and eliminates the need to have left hand 
and right hand tedder tines on hand. 
 
It is important to maintain the correct spring compression action when replacing Sitrex tedder 
tines. The easiest way to achieve this is to replace the tines one at a time, maintaining the same 
orientation with each tine. If the tine is mounted backwards, the tedder will still operate, but the 
potential for tine breakage is higher.
