Twisted Tea is a product of the Boston Beer Company, the same company behind the iconic Samuel Adams beer. Launched in 2001, Twisted Tea was created to fill a gap in the market for people who enjoyed tea and wanted an alternative to beer or other alcoholic drinks. The idea was to offer a product that combined the familiar comfort of iced tea with the kick of alcohol, creating a category of its own: hard iced tea.
