newspapers or other printed media. Now, 
with GeM, sellers or service providers from 
anywhere in India can register and explore 
eligible tenders.

service providers to participate in bids 
from Central and State Governments, 
government organisations, 
departments, agencies and Public 
Sector Undertakings (PSUs).As India’s 
National Public Procurement Portal, all 
bids and tenders on GeM are verified, 
ensuring transparency and trust in the

Furthermore, on GeM portal if a seller 
updates their catalogue under relevant 
product or service categories, then the portal 
also issues auto-notifications via mail and 
SMS to all sellers listed in the category under 
which the bid is being floated.
