Traditionally, tenders were tracked through 
newspapers or other printed media. Now, 
with GeM, sellers or service providers from 
anywhere in India can register and explore 
eligible tenders.

State Ministries / Departments, Central & State 
Public Sector Enterprises, Autonomous 
Institutions, & Local Government bodies 
including Panchayats & Cooperatives

As India’s National Public Procurement Portal, all 
bids and tenders on GeM are verified, ensuring 
transparency and trust in the process. Furthermore, 
on GeM portal if a seller updates their catalogue 
under relevant product or service categories, then 
the portal also issues auto-notifications via mail and 
SMS to all sellers listed in the category under which 
the bid is floated.
