About Us
HouseBuild is the complete construction platform for
everyone—from homeowners to engineers. Whether you're
seeking construction or renovation ideas, need to find a
professional, search building regulations, learn how to
construct a house or extension, view technical construction
drawings, obtain a mortgage, or purchase anything you need
for a building project, HouseBuild has everything for you.
Based in Galway, Ireland's vibrant cultural and
entrepreneurial hub, HouseBuild was founded out of a
market need. Engineers Eoghain and Ailish Ryan identified
that many legacy issues in buildings were due to a lack of
knowledge—not ignorance on the part of builders or
professionals. This lack of information led to serious issues,
particularly with fire safety and structural problems
involving products like blocks with pyrite and mica
