Seam tapes are multi-layered adhesive tapes that are used to restrict the water from flowing out of the seam. They are used to airproof and waterproof clothes, shoes, automotive parts among others. These tapes are thermally activated and applied to a seam using hot temperature. The tape covers the needle holes which help to keep the moisture out.
