Even in a city as advanced as New York, water doesn’t always move the way we expect. Water must travel a great distance in this city. From reservoirs upstate, it winds its way into Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island. By the time it reaches some neighborhoods, it often loses the force needed to deliver steady pressure. Therefore, even a city as developed as New York faces such shortcomings.
