Authentic wood-pressed oils are produced using a classic wooden press, often referred to as a lakdi kohlu. This technique gently crushes the seeds, taking its time rather than rushing the process. Because of this slow extraction, the oil remains at a naturally low temperature, typically between 25°C and 35°C,which helps retain its original aroma, flavour, and nutrients.
