Table Centrepieces Can
Make A Statement

❏ When holding any sort of a dinner party, other than a small one at home,
whether it is for a wedding reception, end of football season dinner, 50th
wedding anniversary, 90th birthday, your business hitting that £5 million
turnover target, or one of many others, it is important to have suitable
décor for the venue for the occasion.
❏ Among other things, one of the most critical is the
event table centrepieces. These can be almost anything, but there are
certain things to keep in mind. One of these is to ensure that they are not
too large. Yes, you want them to send a message, but if you have table
centrepieces that are too large, they can literally get in the way of people
across the table having a conversation. When people are sitting down for
a meal, they will want to have a conversation with the others at the
table, and a meal can take an hour or even longer. They don’t want to be
stuck behind a small tree!

Centrepieces Can Be Of Anything
❏ Bearing that in mind, table centrepieces can be of anything at all.
Flowers and plants are very often chosen as they can provide colour and
elegance. Keep in mind that you need symmetry. If you have a long table
setup you will need repeat centrepieces the full length of the table. For
small tables of four or six persons, then one is enough.
❏ Table centrepieces can also be minimalist. For instance, if it is a charity
then you will not want to spend a lot on the centrepieces. Rather, small
ones can be used to describe what you aim to achieve.
❏ Certainly, all table centrepieces need to attract the attention, however
that may be achieved. At Kenza Creatons, we have many ideas, and we
also have lots of stock in our warehouse of pieces that have been used
on other occasions. Feel free to have a look and get some ideas for your
next event. 4
