Mohapatra Nilamani Sahoo family name likewise spelt Sahu, was an Indian Odia language brief tale author. He got a few scholarly honors over his profession, including the 1979 Odisha Sahitya Foundation Grant for Akasha Patala, and the 1983 Sarala Grant and the 1984 Sahitya Akademi Grant in Odia, for Abhisapta Gandharba. Sahoo passed on 25 June 2016 after various organ disappointments. Sahoo was brought into the world on 22 December 1926 in the town Niali of the Cuttack locale in a well off zamindar family. He considered and finished registration at the Binjharpur Secondary School and later proceeded to complete his graduation and post-graduation in Odia at the Ravenshaw School at Cuttack. After post-graduation, Sahoo accepted the position of curator at the Sambalpur College where he went on for quite a long time. Later he took the post of speaker of Odia at the Bhadrak School, trailed by Paralakhemundi Government School at Gajapati. Sahoo became VP and later head of the BJB Night School at Bhubaneshwar.
