through direct deposit. You need to add a bank account to pay your employees which you can 
change if the need be so. If you want to pay your employees’ salary from a different bank 
account, then you need to change direct deposit bank account in QuickBooks. You should add 
the new account in QuickBooks and then should be updated and verified in Payroll.
Adding a new Bank account in QuickBooks
You can add a new bank account in QuickBooks through your ‘Charts of Accounts’ 
through these steps:
1.You can reach your ‘Chart of Accounts’ through the ‘Lists’ menu.
2.Press ‘Next’ on the ‘Accounts’ tab.
3.Select the ‘Bank’ option in the type of financial institution.
4.Enter all the required information and then click on the ‘Save & Close’ button.

Updating the bank account in Payroll
After adding the bank account in QuickBooks, you need to update it in Payroll. Follow the 
steps:
1.Click on the ‘Employee’ tab and then go to ‘My Payroll Service’.
2.Click ‘Accounts/Billing information’.
3.Log in to payroll with your credentials.
4.Reach the ‘Payroll info’ tab.
5.Go to ‘Direct Deposit Bank Account’ section and then click on ‘Edit’.
6.Feed your PIN when prompted and then click on the ‘Close’ button.
Verifying the Direct Deposit Bank account
After you update the direct deposit bank account, you need to verify it through these 
steps:
1.Go to the ‘Payroll Info’ tab again.
2.Go to the ‘Direct Deposit Bank Account’ section and press the ‘Verify’ button.
3.Feed your Payroll PIN to authenticate and then press the ‘Submit’ button.
