Let the first coat dry for 4 hours before applying a second coat.
 
Step 5
Start again at the point of origin (top corner) of your wall and apply 
a second thin coat of plaster over the first coat. Hold the steel 
trowel at a 30 60 degree angles and make long and short, layered 
strokes to achieve an uneven appearance over the first finish.
 
TIP: Fill in voids and recessed areas while completely covering the 
original surface. Soften any marks left with a trowel.
 
Step 6
Continue this process until the entire surface is covered.
