Digital Psychiatry
Digital Psychiatry is a rapidly evolving field in contemporary psychiatry. Many
advances in technology and neuroscience are used to gain insights & treat many
common psychiatric conditions.
A range of therapies are now available digitally as user-friendly apps; web based
E-therapies; real-life data monitoring with your personal devices. However, such
interventions must be chosen carefully on the basis their evidence & data
security measures, paying close attention to features like FDA approval and
professional guidance.
Digital therapies are becoming increasingly viable and accessible from your
mobiles or laptops at the comfort of your homes. The therapy is coming to YOUR
Home! There is a growing number of these applications with evidence-base and
the approval of FDA (US) or recommendations of the NICE (UK). More than ever,
at present, digital therapies seem integral to contemporary psychiatric care.
