The Webroot keycode refers to a string of 20 alphanumeric digits. It is either 
provided through an email or is located in the product package. The keycode 
carries details regarding the subscription. Those who have a multi-user license 
can make use of the same Webroot keycode for installing the product on 3 or 
5 devices.

How to Download and Install Webroot?

Open the Webroot app.
 From the main interface, click on the My Account option.
Now, on the My Account page, click on the Activate option.

Start by clicking on the Webroot icon in the menu bar.
Now, choose the Open option.
Wait for the Webroot software to open.
From the main interface, click on the My Account option.
Now, on the My Account page, click on the Activate option.

Finally, click on the Activate button.
In case you get an error during the Webroot activation process, then you need to check if 
you have entered the correct code. Characters such as i and 1, o and 0, B and 8, are often 
misplaced with each other when inputting the keycode manually.
If you have received the Webroot keycode via email, then you can simply copy and paste it 
directly on the screen. Simply select the Webroot keycode using the cursor, make sure it is 
highlighted, and right-click on it. From the list of options, choose Copy. Go to the Webroot 
activation window, click on the blank for activation key, right-click, and select the Paste 
option. Or else, highlight the keycode and hit the Control+C or Command+C keys (Windows 
and Mac, respectively) to copy it. Then go to the keycode box in the activation window, and 
press Control+V or Command+V. This way, you won't make any manual mistakes while 
entering the Webroot keycode.
