Deputy Communications Director in the 
Israeli Prime Minister’s Office for 
Binyamin Netanyahu. He is the founder 
of Shavei Israel in Jerusalem.

Michael Freund has an MBA from 
Columbia University. He earned his 
undergraduate degree at Princeton, 
and for over two decades has lived in 
Israel. He founded and chairs Shavei 
Israel which helps hidden Jewish 
communities return to the Jewish 
people. He has collaborated on two 
books and is an ordained rabbi.
