Introduction
Michael Grayum is an expert in public 
administration and has served as an 
experienced Public Affairs Director. He was 
mayor of DuPont, Washington for four years 
and attended Pacific Lutheran University where 
he received his bachelor’s degree in business 
administration. He continued his education at 
University of Washington’s Evans School of 
Public Policy and Governance, where he 
earned a master’s degree in public 
administration. 
Public Administration
Michael Grayum lives in the greater Seattle 
area and hold a master’s degree in public 
administration. He has spent over 20 years in 
political, government, non-profit and corporate 
environments. From 2012 to 2016 he served 
as Mayor of DuPont Washington, and he was 
the Director of Public Affairs for the Puget 
Sound Partnership in Olympia Washington. 
Mr. Grayum has the spectrum of management 
and administrative functions.
Campaign Manager
Michael Grayum served as a political campaign 
manager for Snohomish County in the state of 
Washington. He has successfully managed high-
profile political campaigns for members of the 
Washington State House Representatives, and he is 
the Chief Innovation Officer & Executive Director of 
Grayum Consulting. Mr. Grayum is passionate about 
creating community-centered solutions by using his 
extensive experience and driving companies to 
success—both financial and operational.
Business Development
Michael Grayum lives in the greater Seattle area, 
and through an impressive resume, has built his 
strengths in policy analysis, business 
development, and systems implementation. In 
2012, Michael was elected mayor of DuPont, 
Washington, a position he would hold through 
2016. He has his Masters of Public Administration 
from the Evans School at the University of 
Washington. Mr. Grayum is the Executive Director 
and CIO of Grayum Consulting.

Michael Grayum established Grayum Consulting 
where he serves as Chief Innovation Officer & 
Executive Director. He has spent two decades serving 
in public leadership positions and supporting political 
campaign efforts. His resume includes a mayoral stint, 
position as the Director of Governmental and 
Community Relations, and Director of Public Affairs. 
His skill lies in advancing the highest priorities of 
organizations by strengthening their connection to the 
people they serve.
