• Navigate to the Advanced tab and scroll down to find
the TLS settings.
• Ensure the checkbox for TLS 1.0 is checked.
• Click on Apply and then select Ok.
• Reopen QuickBooks and try to access your payroll.

Solution 2- Run your QuickBooks in
Administrator mode to grant special
permissions
• Reboot your computer to stop all the other applications that might
be consuming the required bandwidth for QuickBooks. Use the
software in Administrator mode to grant it special permissions to
prioritise QuickBooks over any other application. Follow the steps
below to turn on Administrator mode for your QuickBooks-
• Open the search panel from your Taskbar or through the
Windows Start button.
• Type ‘QuickBooks” and wait till the icon appears in the search
results.
• Right-click on the QB icon and select Run as Administrator from
the options.
• Open your QuickBooks and try to use payroll.
