Although Air Care is not hygiene-related, the category witnessed a positive performance in 2021. After a poor performance in 2020, consumers returned to physical stores this year, and the general dependency of the category on impulse purchases meant the overall impact on air care was positive in this year, with current value sales returning nearly to the pre-pandemic level. Various other factors also contributed to growth, including mounting Western influence and rising disposable incomes.
