The choli of the lehenga is something that varies year after year with the incoming of various 
trends. Some years we see heavy zardozi work in the blouse and skirt or sometimes print, 
sometimes prints and hand embroidery. The colors also play an essential factor in defining 
trends. Some years the reds, pinks oranges are in focus and some years the whites, creams, 
and beiges are in the spotlight. Currently, many brides or in many other festivities women are
breaking the old traditional ideas of color and wearing whites or soft colors which was not 
done earlier. 
Salwar Kameez
The Kameez or Kurti can itself be categorized into many names depending on the cut. The

The sleeves are another area for forecasting trends. In some years the spaghetti straps are in 
some years its sleeveless, some years full length or 3/4th length, and in some cold shoulder

The salwar or pant is often the traditional salwar or churidar if opting for a long kurta in A-
line style or Angarakha or Anarkali. The straight cigarette pants were extremely fashionable 
last year and also this year people are wearing those. The palazzo is newly in and most 
women seem to wear these pants.
