Nancy Yao Maasbach studied strategic management in-depth at Yale School of 
Management, where she earned her MBA. Throughout her career, she 
accomplished a great deal. As executive director, she oversaw the Yale-China 
Association, a respectable charity that fostered relations between the US and 
China. 
During her tenure, Nancy Maasbach handled more than 20 health, education, and 
cultural initiatives that were all commended for their excellence and usefulness as 
instruments for fostering understanding among people. 
The International Festival of Arts and Ideas, Tessitura Network, Goldman Sachs & 
Co., Aberdeen Standard Investments, the Council on Foreign Relations, CNN, the 
Community Fund for Women & Girls, and the Center for Finance and Research 
Analysis manage the closed-end funds. Her more than two decades of leadership 
expertise span numerous sectors. 
Furthermore, Nancy Yao Maasbach's passion for theatre was evident early in 
her career when she became a founding member of the Here and Now Theater 
Company, demonstrating her commitment to the arts. 
Nancy Yao Maasbach was elected to the esteemed Council on Foreign Relations 
due to her impact and expertise.  
Nancy Maasbach's imaginative leadership, research focus, and commitment are 
reshaping and renewing the theatre management and cultural preservation scene.
