Nancy Yao Maasbach received her MBA from Yale School of Management, 
where she studied strategic management in-depth.  
Nancy Yao accomplished a great deal during her career. She was the executive 
director of the Yale-China Association, a reputable nonprofit that promoted 
ties between the United States and China.  
Nancy Yao Maasbach oversaw over 20 health, education, and artistic initiatives 
throughout her time there, all praised for their excellence and value as tools 
for mutual understanding. Nancy Yao has held prominent roles in numerous 
well-known companies, giving her a wealth of for-profit and nonprofit 
administration expertise.  
Aberdeen Standard Investments, the Council on Foreign Relations, Tessitura 
Network, Goldman Sachs & Co., the Community Fund for Women & Girls, CNN, 
the Center for Finance and Research Analysis, and the International Festival of 
Arts and Ideas manage the closed-end funds. Her twenty-plus years of leadership 
experience have covered a wide range of industries. 
In addition, Nancy Maasbach's love of theatre was demonstrated early in her 
professional life when she joined the Here and Now Theater Company as a 
founding member, showing her dedication to the arts.
