INTRODUCTION
In September 2015, the Government of India
introduced the Udyog Aadhaar registration online to
simplify the registration process for MSMEs and
replace the earlier SSI registration.
Udyog Aadhaar aimed to provide a single-page
registration form that MSMEs could fill online with
basic details such as Aadhaar number, name of the
enterprise, type of organization, location, and major
activity (manufacturing or service).

free, paperless, and aimed at promoting ease of doing
