What is panchakarma?
Panchakarma is the Ayurveda technique that is majorly used for cleansing the

both internally and externally. Nepal Ayurveda Home, School for Panchakarma
supplies two-week therapy for Panchakarma. For two weeks they must stay in
school for Panchakarma course and follow the peculiar set of rules.
Following are some of the rules, that people need to follow when they are in our
school for Panchakarma:
Alcohol and caffeine consumption is strictly prohibited in school for Panchakarma.
Instead of the other unhealthy drinks, they will be provided with special herbal tea.
Discipline, calmness, and focus should be kept throughout the period.
A peaceful serene environment needed for learning need to be created by all the
people involved.
Our School for Panchakarma has a set of action that they guide the people through
their Panchakarma therapy
Vamana (emesis)
Vamana of the panchakarma is medicinal vomiting
or medical emesis. It is an ancient technique where
the process of vomiting is used as medicinal
technique to heal the body in various ways. The
main purpose for which Vamana is practiced is to
balance the khapa in the body. It helps to get the
toxic present inside our body through the process
of vomiting. However, Vamana of the Panchakarma
should not be considered a haphazard technique
because just the process is vomiting. Various rules
and regulations should be followed to accurately
practice Vamana.
Virechana (purgation) in our School
for Panchakarma
Virechana is the second of Panchakarma. It
is the process of cleansing and intoxications
through the process of bowel movement. It
is an anciently ayurvedic medicinal
technique where bowel movement is used
as a method to balance the pitta in the
body. The presence of unbalanced pitta in
the body can hamper the body in various
ways and disturb the proper functioning.
Basti (enema)
Basti is another step we follow in School for
Panchakarma therapy. Basti is the
panchakarma therapy to balance vata in the
body. It is the anciently Ayurveda technique
to cleanse the lower intestine and the colon
of the individual. The huge vata presence in
body will have dreadful effects. It will affect
the whole function of the system of the body
and may give rise to various vata related
diseases and conditions.
Nasya (nasal administration)
Nasya is the penultimate step of
panchakarma therapy. It is the step to
cleanse the head portion of the body. Head
is the most important part of the body. It
governs all out body, makes our decisions as
well as keeps our organ in check. A healthy
head and brain are the first part of the
healthy body. Nasya of the panchakarma
focuses of the head and cleanse it from
inside and outside from toxins.
Rakta Mokshana (Blood Purification)
in School for Panchakarma
Rakta Mokshana is the final process of the
panchakarma therapy. It is the process where
the impure blood is removed from the body.
There are various methods by which the impure
blood can be removed from the body.
Our blood is our life. We will not be alive is it
was not for the blood running through our
veins. However, sometimes the blood gets filled
with toxins and becomes impure. This therapy
removes the impure the blood from the body.
