CHECK YOUR CREDIT.
Check Your Credit Score: You can get your free annual FICO® Score from Experian, 
 TransUnion or Equifax. These three companies all have websites where you can 
access  their scores and reports in addition to providing links that lead directly to 
the free  report requests. You should also periodically check your score online or 
through an app  on your phone; there are many such apps available that will give 
you instant insights  into how well-established of a borrower you are in relation to 
other consumers with  similar profiles (e.g., age).
Check Your Credit Report: Next up is going through each of those individual reports 
one  by one and identifying any mistakes in reporting (e.g., missed payments), 
inaccuracies  about past accounts or loans taken out against them (e..g., new car 
loan) and other  inaccuracies relating specifically only those areas where these 
errors exist rather than  across all three reports combined together into one overall 
picture

Apply in person at any bank branch location in person using their application 
 form (or if none exists yet then fill out an online application). This could take 
up  some time so plan ahead by researching which branch locations work 
best with  your schedule before applying there instead of rushing off when 
possible during  busy hours like lunchtime rush hour traffic jams caused by 
commuters trying  desperately
