• Go to your QB folder on your file explorer (Windows+E).
• Right-click the Network Descriptor (.nd) file inside the folder and select the Rename
option.
• Type ‘.old’ at the end of the file name as an extension and save it.
• Run QB Database Server Manager and move under the Scan Folders tab.
• Select the QB folder using the Browse option and click Start Scan.
• Wait until the QBDT folder contents are scanned, and then try opening the company file
again.
