5 Essential Travel
Items for A trip To
Hill Station
Vacations mean Hill Stations
or Beaches. No matter
where you decide to spend
your holidays, the thing that
takes most of your time is
packing for the trip. Making
it a smooth ride for you, I am
listing a few essential travel
items for a vacation to the
hills.
Woollens &
Windcheaters
Woolens top our checklist every
time we pack for a hill but we
often end up packing too much.
Staying warm is the aim but
comfort cannot be overlooked.
Make sure you pick just enough
woolen dresses for the hill
station if you don’t want to die
of cold or carry too much
weight. On a trip lasting for a
week or less, two good quality
jackets or coats in basic shades
are hill station's dress code.
Comfortable Walking
Shoes
No matter how much you
stuff yourself with woolens,
the wrong shoes will beat
the purpose. Carry a good
pair of shoes or boots as
these are perfect for hill
climbing and snow walking.
Leave your heels and loafers
home.
First-Aid Kit &
Medicines
We all love snow and rain
but our immune system is
constantly at war in such
weather conditions.
Keeping basic medicines
handy is a smart move.
These should be the only
“just in case” product in
your bag.
Umbrella – Shelter
from Rain and Snowfall
The most unpredictable
thing in the mountains is
the weather. At one
moment it’s sunny and at
the very next moment it
will start raining and you
would have no idea.
Climate change is real in
the hills. Do carry an
umbrella to protect you
from both sun and the rain.
Camera
Take a camera with you to
capture the beauty of hills
and moments to cherish
for a lifetime. You must be
thinking you’re smart
phone can solve the
purpose, I reckon for
clicking instagram able
pictures carry your
camera with you.
