Process Of Air Conditioning and Refrigerant Gas During an air conditioning cooling cycle, R-32 and other coolants are converted from cool liquid, to vapour, to warm gas, caused by changes in pressure by air conditioning components. The heated evaporated gases are then released to the outside air, while the liquid returns to the liquid state. At lower pressure, the refrigerant liquid is now ready to cool your house. As fans cool the hot gases, the pressure draws gas molecules closer together, so that again, the refrigerant is cooled down into liquid. The air on the outside takes the heat out of the cooling agent, lowers the temperature of the refrigerant, and changes its status from gas to liquid. As warm air passes through the enclosed coil system, the refrigerant within absorbs the heat, changing from liquid state to gaseous state. When enough heat is drawn into the coils in an evaporator, the refrigerant inside changes from liquid to vapor. The refrigerant, which is a cold liquid, then changes phases into a gas and is passed on through a compressor to raise the temperature. Once again, the refrigerant, now a hot, low-pressure gas, is forced into a compressor, where the refrigerant repeats this process again and again. The heat being transferred into the refrigerant causes it to revert back into a hot vapor, and enters the compressor again to start the cycle over. AC Gas may also be used for manufacturing, storage or retailing purposes The compressor pumps a lower pressure into a condenser, where it cools down and condenses, turning to vapour, and later to a cooled, higher-pressure liquid. The condenser takes away heat from the hot gas vapour from refrigerant vapors until they condense to saturated liquid form, i.e. The ambient air passing through the condenser takes the heat out of the flowing refrigerant. The refrigerant chills the air inside and the resultant gas is compressed and chilled continuously to convert it back into liquid form. Then, the refrigerant goes through an endothermic reaction, meaning that it soaks up heat from its surroundings and vaporizes back to gas. The sudden drop in pressure and material expansion when liquid refrigerant becomes mist results in a quick cooling of the fluid, since it is giving up heat energy.
