Barium phosphate (various stoichiometries including Ba₃(PO₄)₂ and related metaphosphate forms) is produced by reacting barium feedstocks (barium carbonate or baryte-processed intermediates) with phosphoric acid under controlled precipitation and thermal regimes. Its principal uses include optical and specialty glasses, ceramic glazes, certain pigment systems, and niche electronic/ferroelectric materials.
