Epidote production is relatively niche, driven by geological exploration and ornamental demand. Primary deposits in Austria, Pakistan, Russia, and the USA supply most of the global volume, totaling approximately 2.3–2.6 thousand tons annually. Between 2019 and 2024, output has grown modestly, supported by increased mineral exports from Asian markets.
