Ramchandra Mishra was a popular dramatist who composed various plays for Oriya theater. He
was brought into the world in 1921. His most memorable play, Abbnan for example "Pride" in
1942 was written in his understudy days. It was arranged by Bharati Theater in Cuttack and got
well by crowds. His subsequent play, Director in 1945 was created by Annapuna Theater's B-
bunch. The play drew blended responses. However, from now on he composed solely for the
Annapurna. Midia for example "Worker" in 1946 carried him to the front. He was a social
performer, it gave the organization monetary steadiness. From there on he won't ever think back.
Gharasamsar for example "Family" in 1950, Saipadisha for example 'Neighbors' in 1953, Bhai
bhauja for example "Siblings by marriage" in 1954, Narottam Das kahe for example "Narottam Das
Talks" in 1969 were all-well known. Cinematizations of Ghamsamsar and Bhai bhauja became film
industry hits.
Mishra became a force to be reckoned with when Kali Charan Patnaik ruled as screenwriter. In
showmanship he followed Patnaik's strides. The infant Annapurna was battling for presence.
Mishra's mysterious touch gave it a character. He was a legal counselor by calling. Mishra
generally picked an issue and attempted to tackle it. The different troubles in Hindu unified
families and the wantonness of values in the public eye blended him. He emphatically supported
Gandhian way of thinking. His portrayal of Oriya working class families, particularly provincial
ones, is enchanting. He firmly noticed human brain science, appropriately used it in his characters,
and depicted connections delicately. Basic, regular, reasonable however emotional discourse, a
well-sew plot, mind and humor kept his crowds entranced constantly.
